Tyson Gay finished the final of the mens 100m dash with a time of 9.68 in the heat of Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon Sunday afternoon. The previous fastest time was from Usain Bolt who ran with a time of 9.72.

Andrew Wheating pulled off another victory in today’s semifinal heat at Hayward Field.
“I might have a little bit of a chance to make it to Beijing,” said Wheating. Wheating will be in the final on Monday where he will compete for his chance to go to represent the US in the Olympics this August.
