California Safety Connor O’Brien just recently earned an Oregon offer two weeks ago. Arizona State, California, Colorado, Oregon State, and Washington State are some of the other schools to offer O’Brien as well. The 6’4″ 205 pound safety also visited Oregon, Oregon State, and Colorado last week and had nothing but good things to say about all the schools. “All the schools I visited are awesome and surrounded by a lot of great people,” said O’Brien, “I really enjoyed my visits over spring break. I also saw Cal before and that was unbelievable, their facilities are amazing.”
O’Brien is planning to have a lot of visiting done this spring and early summer to set himself up for a potential summer decision. He also has plans to visit another Pac-12 school, Washington, later this week. ”I plan on going to the University of Washington on the 28th, I have heard great things about that place. I have seen a lot of great things about schools I have visited, so I think I am going to have a decision by summer,” said O’Brien. And despite enjoying all his visits, O’Brien did share what entices him so much about Oregon.
“As for Oregon, what’s not to like about that place? I can get a great education. I get first class coaching. I get a great team that knows how to win, and I get to be surrounded by really good people. Oregon sets you up for success.”
With a decision probably coming within the next few months, Oregon is no doubt in the hunt for this talented Safety. Ducks Attack will keep you posted on the recruitment of O’Brien and when he comes closer to a decision. Ducks Attack would like to thank O’Brien for taking the time to talk with us.
