Ducks Attack has learned that Nate Costa did indeed hurt his knee on Wednesday night’s practice and that it indeed was the same knee he hurt last season. Costa did finish the practice after the injury occured. The coaching staff will be running some tests on the knee and they will know more on Monday.

The reason the staff won’t know anything about the damage of the knee is that the team doctor is out of town and won’t get back until Sunday.

The injury occurred on a non contact drill in which Costa fell to the ground.

This clearly is a tough subject and something to keep a careful eye on as the Duck’s were really hoping to have Costa’s play making ability on hand for the season opener.

He will be out of today’s practice and more than likely to sit out the rest of the week’s practice and scrimmage.

Costa hurt his knee and didn’t tell anyone about it until after practice.

This is all eerily familar, I have to say. Thanks for the correction on the knee Mr. Mosely.

Correct me if I’m wrong but last year Bellotti tightened security for Husky week because of Paysinger or D Jones injury news getting out. That week was the same week Costa blew out his knee. Now as we’re preparing for Udub this yr things seem to be unfolding in a coincidental way.

I could see Bellotti withholding the true extent just to avoid doing the Udub coaching staff any favors.

Jerry Allen is such a homer, I love it!

Portland sports radio, regardless of whether it’s ‘The Fan’ or “The Game”, does not qualify as a reliable source.

Webster, Ducks Attack got this information straight from Bellotti’s mouth not 95.5 the game.

Two years in a row now…right before the Puppies? I blame the Dawgs. They got prolly got Paul Allen to manufacture some sort of anti-knee-ray or something.
