The Oregon football team has secured another visit from a top notch recruit in back to back days now. Diante Jackson out of Walnut Creek, CA and plays for Las Lomas high school has told Brandon Huffman of SuperPrep.com he will be visiting the Oregon campus for an official visit during the Washington game on August 30th.
Jackson is 6′2 200 pounds and runs a 4.5 forty yard dash. Jackson is rated as a three star recruit according to Scout.com’s rankings. He currently has offers from Oregon to go along with Arizona State, Cal, Colorado, Nebraska, Oregon State, Washington, and Washington State.
When I was at practice I thought I saw Jackson on campus for an unofficial visit and Jackson confirmed that in Huffman’s article.
“It was very nice, I mean, it was beautiful,” said Jackson. “The weather was just awesome during that time. It was 85-90 degrees during those days I was up here. The one thing that stood out to me was just how green it is. I couldn’t imagine a place that green, it was just beautiful. As soon as we pulled up to the stadium, I was like ‘this is the best stadium I’ve ever seen.”

So Jackson has been on campus last week and is planning on being on campus again next weekend. Sounds to me he is very interested in the Oregon program. Two visits in three weeks might mean the Ducks could land a commitment from Jackson against Washington if thigns fall into place.

I think you mean Jackson was up for an unofficial visit.
No one can he have two official visits to a school.
Sounds like he was impressed with his unofficial and booked an official.

You are indeed correct Scott. Thanks for the find.
When I saw Jackson a week ago he seemed be really enjoying himself and the weather like he said was perfect.
Gotta love the chances we get him although I think its going to be Ducks and Buffs race the entire way.
