INDIANAPOLIS – University of Oregon junior Ashton Eaton has been named USA Track & Field’s Athlete of the Week after winning the men’s heptathlon over the weekend at the Washington Invitational Saturday in Seattle, Wash. Tyson Gay finished the final of the mens 100m dash with a time of 9.68 in the heat of Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon Sunday afternoon.  The previous fastest time was from Usain Bolt who ran with a time of 9.72.
