As if being ranked #5 to start the season and being projected to win the Pac-12 isn’t enough for Oregon fans to get excited, there’s more. Oregon lands one of the top prospects in the world for the class of 2017 in Troy Brown. At 6’7″ 200 pounds, Brown has the size, strength, and athleticism to play as a point guard, a wing, or even a forward.

Brown, who averaged 19 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 6.3 assists last season for Centennial high school in Las Vegas, picked Oregon over Kansas. Here is his commitment video:

Brown also boasted offers from Ohio State, Arizona, Georgetown, Duke, Louisville, Oklahoma, Texas, UCLA, and many others. Brown is one of the highest ranked players to ever commit to Oregon. To discuss this article, visit our forum here.
