Sports Programming entry level job

Post by ncduck »

Hey all,

Anyone interested in the crazy world of sports TV programming? There's an entry level job open in my department and it's been a really good foot in the door for others to move up in our group. It's Los Angeles based and located on the FOX Studio Lot.

The specific duties are primarily working in scheduling/program planning. The work our group does touches nearly all departments and you really get a good understanding of the TV business.

We also have paid internships pretty much year round. The internships are primarily in our college sports group and includes doing research on teams from the conferences we have rights to as well as TV Research. The interns get to be involved with strategic decision making including involvement in selection of games. It's a 200 hour internship and must be for credit.

If anyone has interest or questions, please PM me.

I have a great job and it's a great feeling to share this type of opportunity.
