Scott frost and CSU job

Post by Alan »

I heard on the radio that frost turned down the Colorado St job, Fishduck is reporting the same thing. As I said early I thought a big job for frost such as the Nebraska head coach was not right for Frost. But this Colorado st job may have been the right stepping stone for him. I'm glad he turned it down and is thinking about bringing a trophy home ........ But his days are numbered, end of next year? Maybe

I think a couple more years under the helm of Helf would benefit Frost.

It doesn't look like Riley has filled the offensive coordinator position on his staff yet. Could he be waiting on Scott Frost?

No, Riley runs a pro style offense with run first. He will not want an OC that has become dual threat spread oriented. If he did, it would have been done already at OSU.

I don't think having Nebraska's 'golden boy' as your OC is a great move for long-term security even if they'd eventually tag him 'HC in waiting.' Riley is def very comfortable in his own skin and he's obviously been doing some crazy things lately (staying up past his strict 8pm bedtime for an extra 20 minutes! :o ) to cause him to leave so perhaps he is playing to go after Frost after the Playoffs and run a HUNH offense.

The Husker Shops would go nuts though.
