Arkansas vs Mississippi
I'm shocked by this one! Arkansas has finally come to life. Last I checked they were winning 30-0. I thought Old Miss' was the best 2 loss team in the country before now. Wow!
It looks like Arkansas will make it to a Bowl game.

Arkansas is the best 5 loss team in the country. Imagine if they weren't in the SEC

5-loss Arkansas making a mockery of these supposedly amazing SEC teams. Two shut-outs in a row.

They finally got their s*** together within last 3 game (1 left now), hope they will continue it for the seniors!

Like I said in another thread, they are much better than their record indicates. They should of beating Texas A&M, Bama, and Mississippi state this year and be 9-2 right now.

Or, if they had actually played a real OOC opponent out of four, they should be 5-6 right now.Bud Lee wrote:Like I said in another thread, they are much better than their record indicates. They should of beating Texas A&M, Bama, and Mississippi state this year and be 9-2 right now.
An article I was reading yesterday said that this is a sign of how 'scary' the SEC West is. It's funny how the spin is always applied to any SEC loss: I think the opposite. I think Ole Miss and Auburn and LSU are mediocre teams this year, and MSU is ridiculously overrated, as is Alabama. Arkansas is simply exposing them all for what they are, teams with decent defenses and no offense.
I don't think they will, but if the SEC somehow managed to get two teams in to the playoffs, it would be a serious travesty, given the other great options out there this year.

Arkansas vs Mississippi
The truth likely falls somewhere in the middle between Bud's slight SEC homerism shades and Phalanx's disfensiveness. Arkansas is probably a decent team but nothing beyond that. Beating them is a nice win, but no big deal either.

Their last two wins were enough to get them ranked on the ESPN Power Poll.

Re: Arkansas vs Mississippi
Yes, David Pollack as them at #19. UCLA at #11.
Somehow in that same poll USC loses to a top 10 team and drops 15 spots and out of the poll completely. Ole Miss loses to an unranked team, excuse me, gets crushed by an unranked team, and drops 11 yet remains ranked top 20.

Does Bama need another quality win? They are in the same situation the Ducks are. Win and you're in , lose and you're out.

Naw, Duck24 is just afraid that 'Bama is going to move from #1 into "∞#1." It's kind of like light speed and ludicrous speed, and we already know the Tide likes to go plaid.Bud Lee wrote:Duck24 wrote:What are the chances they are in the CFP top 25, giving Bama another "quality win"?

Re: Arkansas vs Mississippi
A team that went 17 straight games without a conference win is now getting top 25 votes because they won 2 straight games in the SEC. The voters are f-cking idiots.
