McCoy says some foolish things about Chip

McCoy on Kelly
"especially all the good black players. He got rid of them the fastest. That's the truth. There's a reason. ... It's hard to explain with him. But there's a reason he got rid of all the black players -- the good ones -- like that."
Apparently he doesn't realize that he's been replaced by another black player who is better than him.

Seems he's still pissed about being traded to Buffalo. The way he's acting though, I can now see why Chip wouldn't want his personality on the roster anymore.

Anyone with the nickname "Shady" is likely not the sharpest knife in the drawer.UOducksTK1 wrote:Apparently he doesn't realize that he's been replaced by another black player who is better than him.

Chip on McCoy:
"I’ve got great respect for LeSean. However, in that situation, I think he’s wrong. We put a lot of time in looking at the character and factors that go into selection and retention of players, and color’s never been one of them."
"It doesn’t hurt me," Kelly said. "I’m not governed by the fear of what other people say. Events don’t elicit feelings; I think beliefs elicit feelings, and I understand what my beliefs are and I know how I am.
"You start chasing perception and you got a long life ahead of you, son. That’s what it’s all about. If you’re worried about some perception of what’s going on with you, then you can control one thing: you can control yourself and I know how we run this organization and it’s not run that way."

Better to keep one's ignorant mouth shut and appear dim, than to open it and confirm it. People sure are eager to play the race card these days.

Me too, but when that card is pulled in front of the right people it can be a pretty powerful card.Bud Lee wrote:I have no argument so i must call you a racist....

The truth is that the race card exists for a reason, and sometimes it's true, but when it gets thrown around the way Mccoy is using it makes the person using it look like a bitter asshole who's unwilling to take responsibility for their own actions.nogerO wrote:Yeah but I'm a white guy so I'm automatically a racist.squintsdd wrote:Me too, but when that card is pulled in front of the right people it can be a pretty powerful card.Bud Lee wrote:I have no argument so i must call you a racist....
