Baylor Football scandal may get worse
Even after we were disgusted by Baylor's initial report on their rape epidemic, a victim is now suing the university, alleging the actual number of rapes is over 50, not the 15-20 number reported by Baylor. If true, Baylor needs to face massive penalties.

It's kinda like the Bill Cosby rumors, once it reaches a certain point there's no plausible deniability. Even if it's half that, 26 is still unspeakably bad.

It's so gross I keep telling myself it simply can't be true.

Woah that is horrible. And so far this is only talking about four of the nine years Briles Sr. was HC there (2011-2014). For anyone considering death penalty, this way tops SMU, at least receiving money/gifts is consensual.

I think the NCAA got a check on power after the Penn State scandal. I won't argue or say I disagree or agree with penalties or no penalties, I just think given what we've seen the outcome may be minuscule or not even compare in terms of severity.
Before a s*** storm starts, I'm not condoning the actions in any way, merely stating what I think will happen.

If you aren't joking, the only due diligence one needs to do is hear the word, "Baylor". If that's not enough, Waco.5$ wrote:Maybe he didn't perform his due diligence???ifuwant2 wrote:I'll never understand why Rhule took that job.

Cash, cars and cheating all pales in comparison compared to baylors attempt to Glorify God through athletics.
Ken Starr was the president at the time too. At least he took oral sex seriously.

I forgot to think about it but Baylor is where Matt Lubick ended up as the OC. Yikes.

More stuff about to hit the fan. Briles was and probably still is really F'd up. Talk about win at any cost. Amazing anyone can still call themselves a Briles supporter. Wow!

I actually agree. This is beyond the NCAA, their rules and sanctions they can levy. I'd rather see Baylor get their asses handed to them in civil court by the victims and Title IX staff who were stifled, the complicit coaches/staff/admin be blackballed, the Feds cease all funding of any kind (student loans/grants, NIH/Research funding etc) and their accreditation be revoked. This story is WAY bigger than a stupid football program. My two cents.CanadianQuackers wrote:I think the NCAA got a check on power after the Penn State scandal.
