AP Top 25 (10/15/17)

USC up to #11, UW drops to 12, WSU to 15. If you're like me and you place a premium on UW being kept out of the CFP, obviously last night's upset loss to ASU was huge, particularly because four of UW's last five games are at home (only remaining road game is at Stanford on Friday, Nov. 10). I don't think that means they're out of the running, though. One more loss, presumably either at Stanford, WSU, or the CCG, might be necessary.

They're out, and so is any other Pac 12 team. I honestly think either USF or UCF has a better chance at that 4th spot than either USC or WSU lol.

Yeah, unless there is some major chaos (which I always hope for) I don't see the PAC getting into the playoffs this year.

My early guess at the final four is Penn State , Georgia, TCU and Clemson

I certainly want to agree with both of you, but UW did make it in last year with a loss. Granted, though, that was to USC and they only dropped two spots in the CFP rankings, which seem to usually be pretty close to the AP ones. UW's OOC schedule probably won't do them any favors in the eyes of the CFP Committee either. Still, if UW were to win out, including the CCG, I'm betting they'd be at least knocking on the door of the final four.

Hopefully ASU has discovered a blueprint to beat them that others can follow. At the same time, I'll probably generally be rooting for the Sun Devils to lose in their remaining games so that UW's loss looks even worse. UW looks like they may have lost their All-Pac-12 left tackle Trey Adams as well.

Might be a little wishful thinking on my part

However, I think that they could drop a game to Georgia in the SEC championship game or maybe AU

Since it's in South Bend, I'd be surprised if ND doesn't win decisively.

I could see that Georgia looks good but sadly if they won every game and lost in that game they would still get in
