Can someone explain why Alabama is #2? Who have they beaten to be ranked that high?

They can prove themselves in the next 4 weeks (Miss St., LSU, Auburn) but to this point, their resume looks like a MAC team

They were pre season #1 or #2 and have curb stomped everyone they have played. I don't see any reason for outrage this early in the process.

I'm happy Georgia is #1. Kind of a poke at Saban if you ask me, and a well deserved one at that! "I don't care about the polls." Sure Nicky, sure...

Please, let Notre Damned have one more loss. That would be my Christmas present. Well that and the fact that the fighting crybaby harbaughs got beat again!

I expect UW to rise at least three spots when the next CFP rankings come out tomorrow, to #9, matching up with the new AP Poll. They are not out of it, as much as I might wish it. It's also why I, very unusually, want ND to keep winning.

ND or UW, what a terrible thing to have to choose between.

Nah, I'm pretty sure multiple people on this board said UW had nothing to play for last week, because they were already eliminated from playoff contention. Surely things couldn't have changed in a week's time!
