Tonight. Bryce Love v. UW defense. Unimpressive UW offense v. ok Stanford defense. Not sure what to think.

But, Go Stanford!

Should be an interesting battle. Although after Love came back from the game he missed, he didn't look like his usual self.

Stanford holds off UW 30-22, likely meaning the Pac-12 won't be a part of the CFP this season.

I can't believe our d made Browning look half way competent. He's not very good and Stanford showed that.

The Pac-12 is an absolute joke this season.

:P :P :P HUCK THE FUSKIES!!! I could care less if they don't get in the playoffs and get their asses handed to them again this year. Huskies lose! Celebration time...

I really don't like Stanford, but I DESPISE the fuskies. Any time they lose, it's a good thing, CFP be damned.

Somewhere, a million tail sniffers just whimpered in their sleep.

Alex Trebec: Name a quarterback with experience above the Pop Warner level, who runs backwards 20 yards before attempting to dump the the ball?

Guess we all know the question to that one.

I'm surprised UW took a big step backward this season. But glad they did!

And the air . . . it seems fresher . . .

So I think by far the most important goal of Duck fan anti-Husky football sentiment has been met this season: UW won't be in the CFP.

Next one on the list for me is that UW be kept from repeating as Pac-12 champs. That will happen if Stanford wins the Big Game next week at the Farm as expected. Cal did have a bye today, though, so I don't think that's by any means a given.

Not quite, WSU is the only north team in control of their own destiny. WSU, huskies and Stanford all have two loses. Cougs are now going into their bye week and they have beaten Stanford. Cougs win the apple cup they go to the title game for the north WSU loses and Stanford wins Stanford is in. Washington wins out and Stanford loses huskies are in.

Quite. That part of my post is simply describing what would be the soonest and probably most likely way that UW would be eliminated from Pac-12 championship contention, not the larger Pac-12 North Division picture. If Stanford beats Cal this week, the best UW could achieve would be a two-team tie with Stanford at 7-2, and Stanford would be the North representative in the CCG based on its victory over UW Friday night. Yes, WSU controls its own destiny in terms of who might win the North.
