Announced today they changed thier mascot again, they are now the Landsharks.

So are they still the rebels and the mascot is now a landshark instead of a bear, or are they now the ole miss landsharks outright? Direwolf might have been a better choice for the next time they raise the banners.

Perhaps they are the Rebels Black Bears and the Bear's best friend is a Land Shark?

From the article I read on ESPN, they dropped rebels as that was the name of the bear. I could have read it wrong.

They're still going to be the Rebels but they're just dropping all the old Confederate Rebel logos and references and going with the landshark as their on-field mascot.
