Titans beat Falcons

Post by Merganzer »

Marcus was not under constant pressure and threw for 227 yards and 3 touchdowns in the road victory. Next week Buffalo comes to Tennessee; with their starting quarterback most likely out with a concussion it will be Marcus Mariota vs Matt Barkley.

They actually went to a lot of 11 personnel and let him run a Spread. Still used too much heavy set play-action but it was a big improvement to spread it out and let everyone play to their strengths

Did you view the game? And if so how?

Its amazing what Marcus can do if the O line keeps him up right and receivers catch the ball...... still want him traded.

I watched the Titans-Falcons & every other game on, Red Zone and yes, Marcus has to play well enough to attract interest from other teams, but not enough to stay in Tennessee's plans.

It's amazing what a QB can do when he isn't getting sacked 9 times in a game.

Titans seem to have a somewhat decent defense. With Marcus and Derrick Henry at RB those positions are good. The biggest downfall is OL. No QB or RB is going to do well behind that OL. They should choose the best O lineman available in most rounds of next years draft or whatever it takes to improve it
