WSU @ ASU, 12:30 (Pac-12)
Can the fat, dumb, lazy & spoiled Cougs get past Herm & the Sun Devils? By a slight majority our predictions said yes.

17-17 at halftime. WSU got off to a 10-0 lead, then 17-7 before a FG by ASU tied it up. In a bold halftime statement, Herm Edwards guaranteed that 17-17 won't be the final score.

No defense here, 2 consecutive 90+ yard drives gives WSU a 31-24 lead.

ASU ties it at 31. For a moment there was a flag on the play because the ASU runner started high stepping before crossing the goal line. But the Ref's picked it up, explaining that there was an opponent in the area.

After a shanked punt, WSU gets a short field. ASU forces a field goal, it's wide right! But, no, WSU called a time out; next try is good, WSU leads, 34-31, 2:30 left in the 4th quarter.

Cougars try a Hail Mary as time runs out. Incomplete. ASU wins, 4 straight L's for WSU, who does Leach blame for this one?

Is this when the train starts to derail for Mike Leach at WSU?

I doubt it. WSU recruits 2 star athletes. They get 4 star offensive production because of Leach. Their defensive raw talent is always going to be about 9th to 12th in the conference and that's where their defense will rank most years. Extraordinary DCs are hard to find and when they get one, hard for them to keep.OregonFan4Life wrote:Is this when the train starts to derail for Mike Leach at WSU?
When we play them I hope we target whoever their #4 is trying to cover about 30 times.
