SC beats Georgia
Bulldogs looked awful at home vs a backup QB.... They better drop below us but you know how it goes.

It's too bad that SC never really gets to go by that. They definitely outplayed Georgia.Duckattack7 wrote:Bulldogs looked awful at home vs a backup QB.... They better drop below us but you know how it goes.

Re: SC beats Georgia
I'm almost more interested in how many votes SC gets for the Top 25 than I am for where Georgia will end up. Why? SEC bias is very real, so Georgia will stay in the top 10. But how real is it? SC is absolute trash, so I'm curious if pollsters can restrain themselves from giving them votes.

This win gets them to 3 - 3. That might keep them in the Also Receiving Votes category.StevensTechU wrote:I'm almost more interested in how many votes SC gets for the Top 25 than I am for where Georgia will end up. Why? Poor coaching by both teams-especially at the end.

...and yet Georgia (who lost to a team without a winning record) remains ranked two spots ahead of Oregon this week. Fascinating...
Stewart Mandel-"From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I much prefer to watch a good spread-rushing offense over a traditional Power-I offense, and Oregon's has been the most fun by far for the past several years. It's fast, its precise, and when Chip Kelly has the right quarterback (Dixon, Masoli) at the helm, the possibility of someone ripping off a 60-yard run exists on nearly every play."

I'm honestly surprised that they didn't go ahead and put SC ahead of us.bigsugarduck wrote:...and yet Georgia (who lost to a team without a winning record) remains ranked two spots ahead of Oregon this week. Fascinating...
