Definitely the irresistible force against the immovable object in this one. A 30 game win streak for Clemson if they win, LSU will put the finishing touches on one of the greatest seasons in history with a 15-0 finish.
I go LSU

You aren't disrespecting poor little ol Clemson are you? Why, before this week, nobody even knew who they were. Just a bunch of blue collar kids that were overlooked by the big programs, brought together by the most humble football coach to walk the earth. How could you possibly root against such a wonderful underdog story?Phenom wrote:Can’t stand Dabo so Geaux Tigers!

Re: LSU or Clemson?
If LSU wins, we have to listen to more insufferable SEC fans going on about their conference. Go Clemson.

Insufferable LSU fans are easier to deal with than insufferable Dabo babble.Phalanx wrote:If LSU wins, we have to listen to more insufferable SEC fans going on about their conference. Go Clemson.

Re: LSU or Clemson?
LSU is a fantastic football team. That said, I'm not 100% sold on them quite yet, despite all of their impressive wins. They beat Auburn, but Auburn managed to keep the score down with their defense. I think Clemson will be the 1st or 2nd best defense they'll have played this season, but unlike Auburn, who's pretty average on offense, Clemson is loaded and can score.
I think the keys to the game are:
Lawrence keeping the LSU defense honest by running the ball like he did vs OSU
The Clemson defense getting consistent pressure on Joe Burrow. If he has all day in the pocket he'll be hard to beat.
Clemson also needs to jam the LSU receivers at the line as much as possible in order to try to prevent explosion plays.
Both lines. LSU devoured Oklahoma in the trenches. Clemson is much better on both sides of the ball.
In the end I gave the edge to Clemson, mostly because Dabo has more experience in these types of games, as well as him being a better coach than Orgeron.
