Oregon State Transfers
What is going on in Corvallis that all these transfers are looking for?

Playing time. When there's very little talent on the team, there isn't much competition to see playing time, which is the main reason many kids are transferring to begin with.

I agree with Droop. Also Smith has done a good job of getting his team trending in the right direction. It makes it a more attractive destination for higer-endish transfers.

OSU is just playing the new game. They used to strike gold here and there in the JUCO market, but as schools around the country decided to join in there, OSU's talent level trailed off. Now, they see another window to potentially exploit. I'm a little surprised they didn't pick up Jack Sears (transferred from USC to SDSU) in addition to their current haul.

Good for them. That DE from Auburn seemed like a real score. Hopefully they can up their game and stop making the conference look so bad when they play the Nevadas and Hawai'is of the world.

I'm weirdly excited for the Beavers next year. I don't feel bad saying that because I don't think they threaten us, not unless we totally s*** the bed.
Gebbia should be pretty solid, Jefferson is really good, and they have a handful of playmakers at WR in Lindsey, Bradford, Harrison, Lowe.
It's more fun beating them when they actually have some hope, and it's good for the state when they are competitive.

I hope they lose every game with the only win coming against UW.
