Wow. AD had vouched for him a few weeks ago too. 32-18 record, 4-0 in bowl games.
Will be interesting to see how Sarkisian does here and who he brings onto his coaching staff.

This speaks to how having money and being a big time booster doesn't equate to being smart. I don't know what on Steve Sarkisian's resume says he's a better head coach than Tom Herman. Looking at the two, both offensive minds and d-bags in their personal lives, it seems like Texas fired Tom Herman to hire Tom Herman-lite.

Seems there is talk that Sarkisian turned them down already.

If that's the case, then the news was broken by...David Pollack. Not saying it isn't true, but it would be weird for him to be the first one to report it, far ahead of just about everyone with connections.

The only person to say that was that idiot Pollack. He's such a SEC homer, he probably thinks it's better to be OC at bama, then hc at Texas.

Sarkisian's staff is looking pretty good so far:
Offense:
RB- Stan Drayton (was already Texas RB coach)
OL/OC (Sarkisian calling plays)- Kyle Flood (Bama OL coach)
QB- AJ Milwee (Bama Analyst)
Defense:
DL- Bo Davis (Detroit Lions DL coach)
S/PGC- Terry Joseph (ND S/PGC)
ST- Blake Gideon (Ole Miss STC)
