Don't look now, but there is a mass exodus from the UW basketball team. RaeQuan Battle is the fifth Husky to enter the transfer portal. Really hate to see this from a once-proud school. I mean, they made the Final Four in 1953. How have the mighty fallen.

Hmmm... There must have been a mistake! Surely they received a quarter of the 'ship for that in some obscure publication!
Autzen Stadium... Where great teams go to die...Hard!

^^ Looks like Oregon State and UCLA are going to get some more 4-stars.

Why are so many players leaving UW? What's going on up there?

Seems like, outside of Puka, most of the guys leaving weren't playing much and were lower on the depth chart. A couple of those guys were really highly-rated coming out of high school though. Spiker was rated the #9 receiver in the country. Nice to see Oregon isn't the only team whose 4-star receivers don't pan out. I don't know if these guys just have bloated ratings, or they were in the wrong system.

Spiker has great hands and is a big body, but he ran like a 4.8-4.9 40 at a nike combine. Not shocked. Austin Osborne is a bit more surprising. He's tall, good hands, and runs a 4.5. I think he lands at a power 5.

Correct me if I'm wrong (and sorry to go off-topic), but of all position, doesn't it seem that WR has the most busts in college? Maybe QB and if so it feels like WR is close behind QB.

It's definitely the position with the most overrated recruits. Every year, you see 20 of the top 100 recruits are high schoolers even though there won't ever be that many drafted in the first three rounds of the NFL draft, nor do they have that great an impact in college.

That sucks. UW is my least favorite team in any sport by far, but I don't like seeing individuals get hurt like that. That could put a big damper on his pro prospects as well unfortunately.
