Re: Questions Thread
Is there anyone here that's part of another FBB league, one that's looking for members?
Not that I'd leave here and join there, but that I'm looking to join in another league as well.

Re: Questions Thread

Re: Questions Thread
Zyme creates the draft files each year and Im not sure how he determines which players come out early, stay in school, etc. but we are not following the true drafts and IMO makes it more fun b/c with each new season we do not know who will be in the draft.

Re: Questions Thread
Pretty much what ownage thread. It also makes it more difficult for teams to tank. If someone was smart, they'd start trading for firsts in the loaded Lebron draft. However, since he might come out later, or Melo might come out later, etc., it keeps GMs on their toes and doesn't allow them to stack for one draft.

Basically what I look for is interesting story lines, what players were doing.UOducksTK1 wrote:Pretty much what ownage thread. It also makes it more difficult for teams to tank. Like I wanted people to remember just how good the UNLV team was with LJ et all so I made a point to mention their championship. That in turn causes duke to not win its first championship until the next year. With Hill being a sophomore and, in my mind, wanting to cash in. He leaves early to join the pros. Aslo, if you have been watching the shaq situation, is make it impossible for people to guage what draft to stock up on with shaq being dangled several years in a row. It also makes is more fun as a draft maker as I have the freedom, within reason to make the classes unique. There are limits, however, unless under very rare circumstance I will not give players a 6th year in college from a grey shirt or red shirt really really good players. If they are good, worst case is 5 years but you can bank on a good player you remember will be coming up in or around the time that they did enter. With the shaq thing, he came out after his junior year. So I dangled him in his sophomore year and his junior and brought him out in his senor year. One of the main practical things it does it it allows me to makes some years much better and some years much worse, which is really realistic: 2013 was considered a very down year but if you were a top 13 pick in 2014 you might well have been a top 5 pick in 2013.
