Like the idea. I'm still in. I also agree rolling over draft picks might help but it needs to be thought out more.

Contracts stop mattering etc. Its best to just do a hard cut whenever that cut is. But having posed the question, its hard to put the cat in the bag.
Could we roll over the draft picks to the reset?
Im hesitant bc if a GM bolts before the reset then it screws that team in the new league. Im a believer in a new league, everyone starts at the same footing.

Broph, that was my concern too with extending the league with a specified end date. I just didnt want to kill it one day and people were like wtf.

once that cat is out of the bag though, thats it, its over. Its best to start the move to the restart if thats where things are going, get the excitement building for that rather than dragging this on.

Rolling over draft picks is rough since the team taken over will likely be in a completely different spot than the one you are in now.

Ok no roll over but why not use the last seasons standings for a lottery for the first season of the restart?

I think it’s just an end of an era, whether it’s after this season or after 2040. We start fresh with randomized drawing of draft order and go from there since it’s a brand new league.

Yep, just like when we started the league it will be first come, first served in regards to which team you want

Can we get first dibs if we want to keep the team though? I've grown quite fond of the Hawks
