Defense and OL take some big hits, otherwise not too bad of a departing class. The one player that caught my eye was Jackson Rice. He's already a senior?? Who is going to take over for him?

Losing Clay and Alonso scares me quite a bit. As for Rice, wouldn't it be that JC guy we picked up last class?

Thanks, he had slipped my mind. He has 3 to play 2 I believe, so might need to add a punter next class.

Losing Clay and Alonso will hurt-it would even hurt more if BoLo were to declare early.

That too would hurt, of course. Big season for development among the younger LB's. So Anthony Wallace, Rodney Hardrick, Carlyle Garrick, Rahim Cassell, Derrick Malone...put your big boy pants on.

Beard, but not Rice? Honestly, Beard was a consistent kicker for us (kick offs too), but nothing amazing. And the guy we just got sounds like he could be a good replacement. And I think Maldonado will be better this season.

I remember Rice getting so excited for his first punt against BSU in the 2008 opener. Crazy to think our four years with that guy have almost come to an end.

And in comparison, Boyett is still on our team. I feel like he's been here for 20 years.

That would be the 2009 season opener.

I am so glad that he returned this season-I was afraid he would declare.
