Hard to believe you could get a kid from Kansas to leave such natural beauty behind to come to somewhere as plain as Oregon.

Gotta admit, driving through the Heartland and seeing that road sign would be a little weird. Especially on Highway 59 (I live on OREGON Highway 58.)

Sadly in Wisconsin they pronounce their city OR Ee Gone.

This is why so many people butcher our states name pronunciation.

Isn't that the same Oregon that UO sent a cease and desist letter to because they were using the Oregon "O"?

Nope, that was a school in Okoboji, Iowa:
