Coaching mistake. They weren't prepared for that, but should have been.stlDUCKfan wrote:What the hell is Noland doing there? He doesn't have to wait for it to go 10 yards. Ridiculous.

Yep, it’s clear they don’t practice that scenario, he had no idea what to do there. When a pressure situation like that happens a player has to rely on preparation. It’s easy to see what should’ve been done in hindsight but in the moment practicing a situation is the only way to be ready for it when it actually happens during the game. Bobby Williams deserves blame for that, hopefully he’s gone after this season.thatbpguy wrote:Coaching mistake. Injuries are playing a large role but they should’ve been prepared for that onside kick.wepto wrote:..........Injuries.......... Wright, and Sewell .... Not the right time to make that comment.stlDUCKfan wrote:They refuse to finish teams.

Yeah special teams continue to be a train wreck. But Oregon State is moving the ball easily because of the injuries.OregonFan4Life wrote:Injuries are playing a large role but they should’ve been prepared for that onside kick.wepto wrote:..........Injuries.......... Not really worried about this frantic bev comeback right now, but good god with the injuries. Sewell out now. I mean seriously, how many starters have we lost this year? 15? Its insanity.

Too bad nobody heard a whistle blow before that penalty... Forward progress stopped for a lot longer on that play, than the previous two incidents!wepto wrote:Yeah special teams continue to be a train wreck. What happened to the next man up mantra? When we talk about depth, there really isn’t any, even if injuries hit you,you shouldn’t be losing to the Beavers, cmon man, they recruit 3 star players who are outplaying a three year top 10 class in the ducks? That is ridiculous. Did they not expect to play all 4 quarters in all 3 phases? Cause that seems to be case…again
