Greatwood and Pellum rumored to be going to Cal

Would any team really hire Pellum? Gosh coach, you have plenty of money and time. Go fishing somewhere, have some fun where it is warm and sunny.

Thanks for the input. I wasn't trying to be mean with that comment - I was just genuinely curious because it seems like a lot of insider info about the program during Helfrichs tenure has come out recently and I wasn't sure if there was new information not initially revealed on what was obviously one of his more high profile missteps.

I would be surprised if they go to Cal. I don't have any inside information, but I don't see Greatwood or Pellum wanting to build something new. Greatwood would be a fantastic hire for Wilcox and Cal though. I have mixed feelings about Pellum. It would be hilarious if Wilcox wanted DP as DC though.

While Cal does seem to have a love for former Oregon coaches/players, I have a hard time believing that Pellum is a serious candidate for one of their openings.

That's fantastic for Greatwood, I'm having a hard time thinking DP is a consideration, he was a complete failure the last three years. That's the good news, bad news is Cal may be the biggest mess in the NCAA.

Greatwood has spent virtually* his entire life in Eugene. Must be incredible strange for him. I know it's going to be very strange for me to see him on the other team's sideline.

I don't see how anyone can look at the defenses that DP has put out in the last few years and think that it would be a good hire.
