Great hire again and a triple win,
Hire a coach with good morals and good recruiter, staff in place.

Second his oldest son as a sophomore already has offers from USC and Mich St, plus some Eugene high school gets a pretty good QB.

Third, by the time Raymond the third is ready for serious recruiting the Ducks won't have to use an official visit.

Isn't Willie's son a QB too?

hudl has him listed as QB, wr, s. Willie Jr is class of 2020.

Does university employee siblings get free books and tuition? Does the Ducks have potential to not use a scholarship on either kid....assuming either coach is still employed.

So, hired a coach who's son is a top prospect. In other words Willie is doing a Tinkle move to pull a Woodie.

Luke Bellotti could have gone to UO for less than 5 grand a year with all the reductions from his dad being an employee. He was given a scholarship to be an onside kicking specialist.

I would say be very excited. Not only is he a great recruiter, we just upgraded our ST coaching by leaps and bounds!
We've equaled or improved our recruiting at every coaching position. Plus on paper it looks like we've upgraded our coaching at most positions. If the coaching staff can work together it looks like all the pieces are coming together.

I am going to guess that Willie is going to wait for the 10th assistant coach spot to open up. There really is no hurry in my opinion. Willie's been a QB coach before so I think he will take up that responsibility for the time being.

That onside kick against Oklahoma, though.

Is Willie Jr going to be any good? Or is he a "preferred" walk on type of player?

Have to wonder if he ends up playing for a Eugene HS next year.
It sounds like Willie Taggart has been checking out local high schools for his son. Wouldn't be surprised to see him and Woodie's son end up at Sheldon HS since that is the top school in the area. Only other Eugene area school that's somewhat decent is Churchill HS but that's on the SW side of Eugene and likely not where Taggart and Woodie will be living.
The Southwest Hills are some of the nicest, richest neighborhoods in Eugene. Head up Chambers, City View, etc...
