Brandon Harris to Oregon?

Post by Bud Lee »

He is taking 18 hours this semester and then 6 in the summer to graduate so he can transfer but we are hearing that Oregon is a "possible" landing spot if all lines up. Y'all heard anything?

First we're hearing of it. Only transfer possibility we've been aware of is Pagano from Clemson.

Is this the QB that got benched early on in the year? Wasn't his accuracy really really bad? Or am I wrong here?

He's been released and says he's talked to a couple of SEC schools. He has one year of eligibility and wants to go to a school that needs a bridge quarterback.

That just doesn't sound like Oregon.

Didn't Oregon just do that with Vernon Adams?

I think he was more meaning with the current QB situation, not that Oregon wouldn't do that.

While they did take a couple grad transfers, Oregon now has a lot more talent at the QB position and doesn't need another bridge QB.

I asked around, and it doesn't sound like they are going after him.

And that led directly to Prukop. Think O should repeat that this year, too? Harris wasn't even good enough to start for LSU even after he was the starter the year before.
If he actually graduates, like Vernon barely did thanks to his Oregon math professor, this guy isn't coming to Eugene, even to play for WT.

It is unlikely , I was just interested if there was any rumblings.

I've wondered for a long time is Brandon's failure at LSU his fault or was it simply a matter of Miles trying to put a square peg in a round hole. I think it would be very intersting to see Harris in a quick pace spread style offense. I'm hopping the kid lands somewhere good.
