Ducks to hold scrimmage in Portland

Post by greenyellow »

In a continued effort to better connect with the fans and public, Taggart will taking the team up to Portland for a scrimmage at Jesuit HS on April 15th that will be open to anyone and everyone.

I love the way Willie and staff keep the fans involved.... compare to Chip and Helf, well there is no comparison. I love knowing what's going on and what coaches are doing.......even if it's just stocking a fridge with Pepsi.

Ducks to hold scrimmage in Portland

Ugh, I'll be out of town! Though I shouldn't complain since I'll be in Palm Springs. I am surprised though that they'd do this the day before Easter.

Terrible. 1 bus stops in front of Jesuit, that's it.

When Jesuit has a big football game, it's a nightmare around there. I can't even fathom what it'll be like with this. They'll have to institute a ticket policy or something. If they just do a donation type thing they do with the spring game, it's going to be a disaster. It too bad they couldn't just do it at Providence Park.

Ugh...maybe they'll have the shuttles like they do in Eugene?

Best bet is to park somewhere else like a mall or town square and get an uber to the stadium.

"On April 15, the program will practice in the Portland metro area for what is believed to be the first time in nearly a decade when it works out at Jesuit from 2:30 to 4 p.m. at Cronin Field."
