Not a whole lot of substance but still interesting.

Chip is going to be in so many articles like this, get used to it. Gruden gets brought up every year even after he says he's not going back. It makes for a good read I guess, I just don't see chip pandering to boosters again, especially in Texas lol. But I'll be behind the guy until he gives me reason not to. I would love to see him coach again, but for now I'm actually very interested in hearing him talk football for 3.5 hours. I think he'll be amazing at it. Kinda weird tho, he comes off as anti media and then joins the media lol.

He liked the national media. It's the local guys he had no interest in.duxforlyfe wrote:Kinda weird tho, he comes off as anti media and then joins the media lol.

Just what I was trying to say in a very bad way, get ready for any wannabe media person to try to scoop his next coaching gig. I think he will do ESPN for at least a year.duxforlyfe wrote:Chip is going to be in so many articles like this, get used to it.

Re: Chip Kelly - Linked to Texas A & M
Chip has stated clearly that he "loathes Texas", so I don't see him taking any job in that state. If and when he takes another job, assuming he comes back to college, I'd think it would be an east coast school in the ACC, though somewhere in the SEC could also be a possibility.

He won't go Texas. My money on him going back to the PAC next year.

Maybe...UofDuck wrote:ACC
The problem there is where? Not Miami, Florida State or Clemson and would he really want to go to a school that he has to build up at this point in his carrier?

Rumor has it that ND boosters are not pleased with Kelley and one more year is all he has. Chip would fit their rigid and arrogant personality disorder. And I'm not sure, but he seems somewhat loyal, so battling the Ducks in the PAC might not be something he'd want to do. I also think he'd be a great fit at a smaller town team like Syracuse, UNC or duke where they have the national cache for him to build a great football team. I think he'd do damage at a school like UNC and they'd give him time to build it.

Chip at a school like Notre Dame is a scary thought.

I really don't think it would be. Chip had the perfect storm at Oregon. Bad Pac12, USC with NCAA trouble and nobody was running the blur offense like him. Now everybody runs it, its not new or innovative anymore.
