Looks like Taggart said via Rob that this would vary, good to hear.

Nice to see Hollins taking positive steps.

I've been high on Hollins since his freshman year. He looked pretty damn good. Then he had that bad injury that forced him to redshirt and he played out of position last year. Glad to see him out there balling. If our pass rush is good this year, our defense will be much improved.

I wondered as well. One guess is that the staff wanted both sides of the ball to have a confidence building day, which lets face it, after last year is going to be important.

They mentioned that Braxton was with the 2s in the next drill.

Thanks, I missed that. Still hoping for a redshirt.
With how few QBs they have on the roster, they need to get Braxton some PT just in case Herbert and/or Alie goes down.
I understand that standpoint, but I feel like Burmeister is a guy who has a pretty decent ceiling and could use a 5th year.

Maybe get a JUCO and have Braxton redshirt next year.

That would be nice but he would probably transfer like most all of our other backup QB's have.

If it's any consolation, we're not the only school with that issue.

I think a lot of teams would feel confident about going up against our defense regardless if starters or not. I am hoping is some improvement since can not get much worse.
