I think 4-1 in the division is possible so I've been ready to drink the kool-aid.

Re: Someone at SI thinks we're a dark horse
Looking around at some of our foes, Stanford QB still isn't back and ready to go and Utah has had players dropping like flies. They just lost their starting RB for a good chunk of the year yesterday. If UO can stay healthy, we have the OL and RB to make some noise. Heard Nigel Burton say our O is just as good as SC after watching both teams, and he said Crosby will be play in the NFL for a long time. Basically he also said both teams have bad backup QBs, and we can't afford Herbert to get injured.

If we completely avoid the injury bug, sure I could see it. We are just terribly thin at some pretty important positions. It wouldn't take much bad luck to seriously derail the season.

Imagine the hype this team will have for 2018 if they even make modest improvements this season.

On top of a 3rd year returning QB, likely one of the most experienced OL in the country, what should be a deep and experienced skill group and a D in its second season under Leavitt with young players likely getting a ton of valuable PT in 2017.UOducksTK1 wrote:That incoming freshmen class will be ridiculous...Duck24 wrote:Imagine the hype this team will have for 2018 if they even make modest improvements this season.
