Don't have any inside info, but I'm guessing high ankle sprain from the play and the boot

I saw he was laughing and smiling on the cart going off, didn't think it could be too bad

If I had to guess, he's out at least 2-3 weeks.

We can win the next two without him. I hope he comes back, but never returns punts again.

I'm not so sure about that, Cal is looking good.

Kinda. They struggled with Weber State. I don't see one dominant team in the PAC 12 - except the Dux :)

Taggart said no update on Nelson's ankle but said indication is not as bad as he first feared.

FWIW- The path off the field at War Memorial Stadium forced the players to have to pass right by the beer line. The friend I traveled with, who was getting a couple cold ones, apparently exchanged a few sentences with Nelson as they tried to get through the mob, and Nelson said "I don't think it's anything serious."

Per a tweet from Tyan Thorburn, Willie said Nelson has a sprained ankle and that he hopes he'll return soon.

I hope he is alright for this week. ASU has been giving up explosive plays for huge yards and he has been the guy to get that done for us this year.

You're giving me flashbacks of that jet sweep play against Stanford 2 years ago :D

I hope they target Dillon Mitchell more in the coming games. He’s averaging around four catches a game but he seems to make the first defender miss just about every time. He is due to break one sooner or later.

Oh Man. 1:21 for the Sweep against Stanford and 2:53 for the run back against ASU the last time he was in Tempe. Here's to hoping he's back soon.

Yeah, I love the first move he makes when he gets the ball, very unpredictable and he's going to turn some short passes into long gains.
