Tyler Shough question
Does anyone know if he will be able to enroll early in either January or in the spring?

We need to land a JC QB also. I don't want to see BB play again, and I'd rather nont have Tyler play as a true Fr.

What BUCKMARK said!!!! I love Braxton's heart, but damn if he can't pass the ball ... don't really care too see him unless its a run play... we NEED a passer!

True. I wouldn't be opposed to looking into a grad transfer as well.buckmarkduck wrote:We need to land a JC QB also. I don't want to see BB play again, and I'd rather nont have Tyler play as a true Fr.

What grad transfer is going to come in with an established starter returning?

Re: Tyler Shough question
Probably someone equivalent to like a Brandon Harris this past year from LSU, who went to North Carolina. Not a great option but would help depth. I'd wonder if Travis Jonsen would even consider coming back potentially.

He's not even starting at Riverside CC, why would we even want him back?lukeyrid13 wrote:Probably someone equivalent to like a Brandon Harris this past year from LSU, who went to North Carolina. Re: Tyler Shough question
I looked him up yesterday to see what he is doing. Losing the starting job at a community college probably wasn't where he saw himself 3 years ago. He started the first game and did decent. 65% completion, 176 yards, and 3 TDs. He had completions of 14, 17, 20, and 32...so as of right now I would take him back.buckmarkduck wrote:He's not even starting at Riverside CC, why would we even want him back?lukeyrid13 wrote:Probably someone equivalent to like a Brandon Harris this past year from LSU, who went to North Carolina. Terry Wilson is at Garden City CC. Doesn't look like the local papers are doing write-ups about how Oregon is missing him and that he can't wait to start for a BIG12 team next year. But I would still take him back too.
It would have been nice to have that competition when Herbert went down. I think Jonsen would be starting and we would still be 5-5. There would have at least been a couple more watchable offensive series on Saturday.
BB needs some time or he may not work at all. Hopefully Shough is coming into the program better prepared. We may need him sooner than later.
