"We've got to send the seniors out right . . . After the Oregon State game, we want to keep the ball rolling and whup people like that, so that's our focus."

So, does that remind anyone . . . at all . . . of something another Duck was quoted as saying in 2009, a little before the last time we played BSU? . . .

Lol it wasn’t stated in the same way Blount said “We owe them an ass whopping” I think it’s a little different but I guess it’s something they can put up on the board if they need it.

But out of nowhere, an unlikely spark — Austin Faoliu came up with a turnover at the line to energize the defense, which then got its hackles up when scout-team receiver Kyle Buckner busted loose for a long gain up the sideline on the next play. For the rest of the afternoon, the juice was flowing.

Am I imagining that there is a stronger presence from the walk-ons since Taggart left? Seems like they are being mentioned more, anyway. Or maybe Buckner was in because Eugenio is out.
