If Leavitt leaves for a non-HC job...I won't be happy with him.

It'd be pleasing if no coaches followed Taggart- would make it seem like Oregon wasn't just a stepping stone for anyone except Taggart. Then the "dream school" narrative would be far more plausible than "stepping stone school" one.

Pimp is being considered for the TE/wise receiver coach at FSU but many think he will not accept. Rumor at this point.

Still a chance Pimpleton goes to FSU as a RB coach:

Other than stability, would pimp really be a big loss? I didn't see much progression with the RBs this year. Has he recruited anyone of note?

Jamal Elliott 4 star rb from N. Carolina and Travis Dye. Royce looked bigger and ran
with more authority. I dont think they fell off at all and rb's were not a weakness.

I am pretty sure Dye wasn't that difficult to recruit. I'll have to look at the stats to see if the running backs ran harder because I really didn't see much of a difference. They weren't a weakness but I didn't see anything they haven't done before. If anything it seems like there were less long TD runs than we are accustomed to.

I get what you're saying. Hard to gauge for me Because
Herbert was out. Defenses could stack the box. Run game
Much better with Herbert.

He's been a good coach but good RB coaches are they easiest to find.

The fact that they weren't any worse than under Campbell says a lot considering how highly we all think of him.

I think Royce actually being healthy this year was the difference. Pimpleton wasn't bad, but didn't suddenly make guys dramatically better in one season. Would be nice if he stuck around, but if he leaves, just hire Ron Gould and call it a day.

I'm wondering if right after the bowl game, we'll hear confirmation on who is leaving and who the new coaches are.
