Crosby playing in Las Vegas Bowl

Post by greenyellow »

Tyrell Crosby has announced he'll be playing in the Las Vegas Bowl tomorrow but will be wearing #58 instead of his normal #73 to honor the victims of the Las Vegas shooting. http://www.goducks.com/news/2017/12/15/ ... heart.aspx

Crosby is simply amazing. Love that our best players have attitudes like that. Between him, Mariota, and Herbert, it makes it easy to be proud to be a duck fan. Certainly way better to have guys like that rather than Winston, Mayfield, or Manziel.

He's the best O lineman we've had here, IMO.

Definitely one of them. I remember watching Gary Zimmerman dominate everyone lined up against him. Was an All-pro as well. 1A and 1B.

Hall of Famer, too. He was before my time, though.

Pretty sure he's going to be drafted higher that Royce, yet he's playing. It's a team game. Read my sig line.

Crazy right? Interesting to contrast this with the Royce thread

Different positions with different levels of general longevity in the NFL, and a much different degree of personal connection with the locale where the bowl is being played. I don't think it's really fair to compare them.

If this game was played anywhere but Vegas he wouldn’t have played.

Idk, right now Walter football only has him as the 12 ranked tackle in the draft.

Did he tell you how the weather was in Vegas when he talked to you about it?
