NFL Combine
I know GY will start one, but just in case a gentle reminder to please start and Combine thread. Ducks have, I believe three there, Freeman, Crosby and who? Thanks, Alan

Royce Freeman runs a 4.59 unofficial in his first 40.

Now 4.55. Pretty good result for a guy his size.Tray Dub wrote:Royce Freeman runs a 4.59 unofficial in his first 40.

Re: Combine
Royce performed about as expected. Crosby showed off some good athleticism, his bench wasn't impressive but he does have 36" arms. I don't think either of them had some standout performance that will move them up or down.
I'm thinking second round for Crosby and third to fifth for Freeman. I would love to see Carew get drafted, that would be showing some respect since long snappers don't even get combine invites.
I would have loved to see Royce turn in a 4.49 type time, maybe he'll run at Oregon's pro day.

Re: Combine
I expected a little better out of both Freeman and Crosby, especially with the reps.

Re: Combine
Royce also had the third best three cone drill and the third best 20 yard shuttle, both behind two smaller backs. He was the best at those out of the larger backs, and bested Saquon Barkley who has been freakish.
It's looking like Royce has improved his stock and made himself some money today.

Yeah but a good showing in the Vegas Bowl would have helped out more...GoDucksTroll wrote:Royce also had the third best three cone drill and the third best 20 yard shuttle, both behind two smaller backs. Carew will get a chance to perform at UO Pro Day. Most teams should have reps there with Crosby likely being a top 40-50 pick.GoDucksTroll wrote:Royce performed about as expected. Re: NFL Combine
Hmm....I honestly had no idea. Good for him. That's very rare. A good long snapper can have a very long career in the NFL.maxduck wrote:Tanner Carew was invited to the combine.
