Offensive help on the way?
It's a Canzano column so some may want to ignore the topic.
Cristobal is not going to fire him. Be sure. But he may be looking to get Arroyo some help. An NFL source told me on Thursday that former Indianapolis Colts and ex-Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski has had discussions with Oregon about coming to Eugene as a possible “special assistant to the head coach” hire.

Whoa, this would be interesting. A former NFL head coach, but a bad NFL head coach. I didn't know Chud was Miami's OC during that title run.
If you can get this guy as an analyst, do it.

Him and Mario do have a tie as Cristobal was a GA at Miami while Chudzinski was the TEs coach.

Cool an old timer NFL guy. Maybe he can help us find that elusive 16th run play between the tackles and another play action pass route to the right side of the field.

Exactly, some guys are bad head coaches, but great analysts or position coaches.GoDucksTroll wrote:Whoa, this would be interesting. A former NFL head coach, but a bad NFL head coach. I didn't know Chud was Miami's OC during that title run.

FYI — Michael Johnson was a headcoach too. (Albeit interim) but none of us are complaining about his departure
