From a reddit thread, it sounds like he was involved in some kind of accident, likely a car accident.

I have been keeping an eye on the internet for any news of this accident, it is so sad when a young one dies so early in life. Other than the Reddit report another "Reddit type site" says " according to unconfirmed reports Tui was killed in Eugene in a fatal car accident". I would think a confirmed report will be out today but plenty of tweets from friends and teammates.

Was it in the accident on 42nd street that killed two people the other night. I don’t believe they released names of victims yet

Apparently 1 male and 1 female died in the accident at 42nd. Sounds like at one point police clocked that vehicle at over 100 mph.
No confirmation of names at this point.
Hard to lose young people to bad decisions.

Unless he also goes by Isaac Moses, that accident wasn't him.

Confirmed by a local paper down in Stockton, CA that Talia was a passenger in a vehicle that hit a lamppost and which caused him to be thrown from the vehicle. Driver is being charged with gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and two other felonies.

What a waste... And the 19 year old driver is under arrest for multiple alcohol related felonies, including vehicular manslaughter.
