Phil loves massive total starts on the O-line and Experienced QBs. By his criteria Oregon should be really good on offense.

By that criteria we should have been much better last year.

Correct. I edited out a sentence saying his criteria is a generally solid one on average but doesn't account for scheme and coaching. But the experienced line and qb did help Coach C have the best offense production he has ever had as a head coach (by a mile) and for Coach A an offense that averaged twice what he has ever had as a play calling OC.

Was gonna say, where did we have our offense ranked before last season?

Predicted: 39 points per game and 500 yards per game, 1st in conference

Results: 35 & 420, 3rd in conference

In conference results were significantly less as the above numbers benefited from a 3 cup cake preseason which we wont have this year.

Short article from the Oregonian about offensive changes: https://www.oregonlive.com/ducks/2019/0 ... eason.html

A lot of coach speak from Arroyo and some quotes from Herbz at the Manning Passing Academy. It’s nice to hear Justin own up that he made some bad choices last year. We all know when he’s on he is ON, but the Wazzu first half is unacceptable.
