Re: Fall Camp 2019
They need to get Pittman(or Addison) running with the 1's. Every day I hear Johnny Johnson is running with the 1's makes me want to bang my head on my desk.
Dollars continues to impress as well.
Sounds like the OL is performing very well so far in camp.

With a new WR coach, it's probably best not to make judgments on players based on last year's performances.GrantDuck wrote:They need to get Pittman(or Addison) running with the 1's. Every day I hear Johnny Johnson is running with the 1's makes me want to bang my head on my desk.

At least the coaches are very aware of the drop issues from last year and working diligently to correct that.
Now if we can just get them to admit the same about running more RPO...

Re: Fall Camp 2019
Early on I think this team’s success will boil down to a couple factors. Can we make a big jump now that we’ve had some consistent leadership for a couple years? It’s hard when we changed defensive, offensive, and training philosophies so much.....and then, how much can a leopard change its spots? Guys that drop passes don’t usually just develop great hands. Backs that lack vision don’t usually suddenly exhibit patience and vision. Guys that miss tackles don’t usually become Luke Kuechly....I expect the young talent to emerge at some point but how soon do they challenge the veterans?

In the above video and many more of MC when someone asks about how a player is performing I love how he answers. Regardless if the player had a good or bad day, week, month or year he always ends the answer positively.

It's nice when a coach sees a big bump from this year compared to last year. Gives me high hopes.
