Glad to see mention of Mase. He’s a bit of an enigma to me. Highest rated LB recruit we have, bum knee last season, might leave on a mission, talk of USC mingling... Good to see he’s doing work.
Let's Imagine a LB core of Funa and Sewell...

Guys....

im like... usually a pessimist and some would even say mean.

But I am sneakily excited for this season ... I think the team is going to be good & have an SEC nasty streak that the P12 is not used to seeing.

I'm a lot more in wait and see mode. We don't actually get much information other than from sunshine Rob(I like Rob, but he focuses on the positives only) from the full practices. Last year was pretty good, but we struggled in some games away from Autzen. Spring game was just OK. The schedule also looks pretty tough. Some of our best talent in the skill positions is all pretty young and offensive play calling is a question mark as well.

I will say, I'm very optimistic about Avalos long term. The thought of his scheme with Kayvon/Funa/Sewell...as Gruden said on Hard Knocks last week, "we're not in the business of achieving our dreams, we're in the business of giving other teams nightmares."

Mostly positive and that he's been getting more reps with Felix out, but not anything like Pittman has gotten on offense to make you think he's got a chance to get a decent chunk of reps Game 1. Unless we get a big lead late I don't imagine Mario is putting a young back in the game at all unless they're going to contribute all season on ST.

Dollars ran with the 2’s recently at practice. I think he will get some playing time but realistically is probably 4th on the depth chart.
