Depth Chart Discussions

RB - Noticed that CHL was with the ones yesterday. Felix was with the twos again. Dollars moved into that third team spot.
Whats up with Verdell and Dye? Not much from either so far. Are the coaches just trying to keep injury free / fresh since they already know the drill with those two guys?

I thought I heard Mario in one of the interviews say that they knew what they had in Verdell and wanted to limit his touches during fall camp. Could have miss heard that though.

JJ III is getting 1st team reps at WR in place of Schooler. JR Waters has moved from 3rd team to 2nd team.

Man JJ III had a rough season last year. Not super confident in him running with the starters...

We have added a ton of depth at WR, last year Jonny Johnson played mostly out of necessity. I feel pretty confident that if he plays as much this year it's because of him working to keep the young guys behind him. If not, then Pittman, Addison, Waters, Wilhoite etc will pass him by.

I've got a wait and see with the young WRs and how they improve with a new coach and off-season. Although its hard not to be excited about Pittman from the get-go, just hope he doesn't burn himself out early; it's a long season

With all the injuries at the receiver position, how are Crocker and Tucker not at least getting a few reps with the twos?? It appears both of those dudes are stuck behind walkons?? Anyone know he deal?

Nope, Tucker is getting a lot more reps, per Coach B’s interview on Go Ducks.
