The epitome of being lost was when they initially said there were two penalties on the offense then, wait, it was on the defense. Never mind.UOducksTK1 wrote:Yup, they were so lost.dthomas=ddixon wrote:This. They basically let the WSU players on that play make that call on Sewell.UOducksTK1 wrote:Yup, they were so lost.dthomas=ddixon wrote:This. Clownzano...but...would encourage you all with time to write a quick note asking for more transparency in Pac-12 officiating. There were at LEAST 3 truly awful calls in that game that we need to know that yes, the conference knows those were incorrect.

Re: Can you recall a worse officiated game?
So basically a whole lot of nothing. The fact both teams have reasons to complain while the conference and their officials side step the idea that they are incompetent when it comes to making consistent calls that are within the guidelines of the rules. The false start that the official seemed to listen to the WSU player is concerning. It gave the appearance that the player was allowed to influence the call. Most officials will listen but not give the impression that the player is influencing the decision. That was not the case with the penalty against Sewell. The instant replay showed was no movement by the offensive player. If anything was a slight movement of arm but not anything illegal according to the commentators.
