Are you actually listening or just making asinine remarks about the commentary? They were talking about 1 play that ended in a TD.
I heard it...and they're ignorantly ignoring literally the entire rest of the game by making that statement.
They said it was 1 good play. How is that relevant to the rest of the game. The segment is called the play of the game.

Breeze! Great recovery

Offense is broken

Defense is not.

Imagine if this Oregon team had the 2010-2014 Offense to go along with this year's defense or that Oregon team had this year's defense. If we did its possible we could be even more dominant than 2003-2005 USC

Offense should show up in sheep pelts next practice. Pathetic showing today. Arroyo included. I’m done with him.

They're playing the 108th ranked defense in the country... (https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/ye ... fense.html) If one play works well like that and the entire rest of the gameplan doesn't...can you really chalk it up to something being "beautifully orchestrated" vs. lucky?

Thank You, Cyrus!

This team needs a hard nosed RB or 2...

Hope the recruits on the sideline are paying attention.

OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS!

I’d say a lot more than 1 play worked. A play can also be schemed well and not be executed. He can only do so much. Schemed a wide open Johnson in the end zone that was missed. Got Redd to the sticks, but he lost the ball. Everyone just sees the score and assumes it has to be play calling. Sometimes college quarterbacks don’t play well, and there’s only so much play calling can accomplish.

Agreed. We like to bitch, but great record. Defense has been huge this year, offense has been much less than what we expected. Injuries took a toll, but thought they wouldn’t look so inept in stretches. The media helped create an offensive beast, but it comes down to play on the field. It was the defense that played a much bigger role this year.

Luckily the only uncommitted recruit that matters plays defense then. If this was the only game they watched, and make their decision solely based on how the team performed in this game, they weren’t taking Oregon seriously anyway.
