Re: New 2020 schedule
No UCLA, seems like most difficult games at home (USC, ASU, UW)

The yet to be renamed rivalry game in October is weird though

Re: New 2020 schedule
Having OSU moved to the middle of the season just seems weird.

Having USC-UCLA and the Territorial Cup in Week 1 is even weirder.

Re: New 2020 schedule
I kinda wish Oregon-OSU was week 1 as well, followed by Washington week 2. I'm not particularly hopeful we get too many weeks into this thing, so let's get the rivalry games played at least.

I like the Halloween date for Washington, if they make it that far.

Back half of the schedule is much more difficult. Breaking in a new QB, probably good we get to ease things in a bit.

Re: New 2020 schedule
Why would they put the Civil War in the middle of the season? Every other game can be played whenever, but season ends with OSU.
(their season. UofO then plays the conference championship and a bowl game)

Is Stanford any good next year? They used to always give us fits late into the season. Also apologies if this has been mentioned before but when does fall camp start?

Re: New 2020 schedule
They can't do any worse than MLB has so far, oof.
As far as the schedule.
Good: Bye before UW
Bad: Furd/Utah to end the year is rough!

Re: New 2020 schedule
I doubt Stanford will be good, they lost a ton of upperclassmen to the portal. They looked more like a G5 team than UCF did when they played last year. Seems like Shaw has fallen behind the times--just like Kelly, Helfrich and the other Pac12 coaches from that era.ducks5ever wrote:Is Stanford any good next year? Re: New 2020 schedule
I will still call the Oregon vs Oregon state the civil war. If they want to send a lynch mob after me go ahead. It has been the civil war for over a hundred years. I am still going to call it the civil war. Utah in December will be scary. Cold and snowy is likely to be the weather if make it that far. I think the season is cancelled before that.

Really weird! I wonder if this season won't have the same vibe at all cuz of no non-conference games, and little things like this.chapelhillduck wrote:The yet to be renamed rivalry game in October is weird though
