Kyle Phillips, far and away UCLA's best receiver, missed the uw game so I wonder if he's going to play this week.

In past seasons I would’ve said this is the game where we come out firing on all cylinders with a great game plan… but after last weeks performance, coming off a bye, I don’t have much faith in the coaches to flip the switch like that.

If we can limit the gaffs on offense and play well on D we should be able to make it a close game that comes down to the wire. If AB is off though, and we have some turnovers, we’ll dig ourselves a hole that we aren’t capable of climbing out of.

In any case I hope the coaches are forced to throw TT in there and let him get the experience needed and adds a passing threat to our offense. We're going to need it next year, which IMHO is when we will have a really good team and schedule, and can actually give Georgia a game in the opener. UCLA 38, Oregon 24.

Hopefully Brown will spend every practice this week with TEs and WRs passing the ball twelve to thirty yards. Nothing else, just throwing the ball from way the hell out of his comfort zone. These dink passes are killing the O.

Expecting anything different from AB at this point seems like wishful thinking. He gets praise from the head coach for his drinking and dunking, so that's what he is going to continue to do. I expect Saturday to look exactly like every other week. Short passes and throws into coverage all day. Maybe after we lose this week they will consider making a change?

It is mind numbing to me that we have no downfield game. What kind of football is that. It's akin to having an assortment of weapons going into battle and refusing to use some of them.

Chip was stubborn. Mario is really stubborn.

I'm with Grandpa. It will all come together, at least for this one week.

I think UCLA is going to kick them all over the field like 41-24, but I thought OhSU was going to do that too. I am just counting on the power of me being wrong at predictions like before. I have missed every game so far with Oregon outperforming my expectations against OhSU and way underperforming them in the other 5 games. Me being wrong about the UCLA game will keep my perfect record of always being wrong about them intact.
